Fake it fake it until you make it - fake Apple stores on the rise in China

Yes, the Chinese have done it again! As if fake software, DVDs, cars and just about every other consumer product was not enough this time around we can add a fake Apple Store to the ever growing list of fake products to come out of this ambitious country.

While the unsuspecting employee might be real the store he works for is not...

As Kevin Kline from The Pink Panther would say: "Fake Apple employee is from China. Fake Apple Store is from China. The Chinese are from China! It may be too early to say for certain, but I think the Chinese are faking Apples."

After further investigation Chinese government found another 22 fake Apple stores in the city of Kunming. Wow this just keeps getting better and better. Simply amazing!

OOPS I DID IT AGAIN...

Ok as if I needed another reason to hate Facebook. But hey if you were looking for just one more reason to quit your social bug/addiction here it is - do not support companies that engage in unfair business practices that involve shameless smearing of the competition. This is a very low life thing to do and shows desperation and immaturity among a few other things. Oh and just for the record MySpace sucks too.

This is why Facebook sucks:
- they engage in unfair business practices like smearing their competition
- they leave users' personal data vulnerable
- everybody is using it so its no fun anymore
- its a huge waste of time

Things you can do that do not involve Facebook:
- meet with your friends face to face
- go for a walk
- go to the movies
- go for a bike ride

Oh and by the way. Before any of you start ranting and complaining let me just remind you that I am always right and you are always wrong! In your face...

Osama bin Laden is dead... now what?

Osama bin Laden is dead:  3/10/1957 - 5/2/2011

Ok so by now we've all heard the news about Osama bin Laden's death. And now what? Clearly Osama was a scapegoat. Hey no surprise there - we all like to point fingers and blame others. After all he is just one man who would not have been able to accomplish much without his numerous accomplices and allies.

I am just not sure why people were so excited and what exactly were they celebrating? I mean his death doesn't really change anything in the grand schema of things. It does not bring back the victims of 9/11 and it may not stop future terrorist attacks either.

Some experts think that as a result US will finally withdraw troops from the Middle East but I'll believe it when I see it. Others are afraid of possible retaliation and more terrorist attacks against the West.

So I ask again. What exactly have we accomplished by killing this one guy? Can we stop living in fear? Are we safe now? Unfortunately the answer is - probably not. However, it does leave even more unanswered questions.

For example. Since bin Laden was not wealthy and instead leveraged his numerous influential connections to raise the capital needed by al Qaeda then who are the guys that sponsored this operation? Maybe, just maybe, we should be worried about those guys that are still at large!?

And also why does Mr. Bean look so much like bin Laden?
